Following decades of journalistic, commercial, and wedding photography, Patricia Braine's interest in film production grew stronger in the late 1980s. In 1990 she formed Silver Images Wedding Videography as a sideline business. In 1999, while attending Hollywood Film Institute, Braine pondered how she might combine her background with weddings, her passion for fashion and photojournalism, and her love of filmmaking upon returning to her Vermont home.
By 2005, this new perspective led to a fundamental upgrade of Silver Images Wedding Videography. For the next several years, Braine enlisted camera operators and editors with film backgrounds to capture the beauty and emotion of the real love story, in the same way movie audiences experience a highly produced cinematic feature film.
